The Tencent Gaming Buddy is the official emulator designed to play the widely popular mobile release of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is made playable on PC by the Tencent Gaming Buddy the official emulator released by Tencent. Yes, this means you are able to play a cut-down-to-size version of PUBG for free on your computer.
The emulator provides a smooth 60fps gaming experience once installed. It satisfies the PC gamer’s needs by offering diverse settings. Offers the choice to switch between HD, Full-HD, and Ultra-HD resolutions. The choice, however, depends on your computer’s hardware. It also comes with Full-screen compatibility. The emulator doesn’t support touchscreen displays.
The classic computer Keyboard and Mouse configuration work wonders with the help of the emulator. Although, it can be quite confusing at times to have tons of keys and control options scattered across the screen. There also seems to be no loss of functionality whatsoever. Tencent has made the emulator and the game incredibly compatible with PC.
Reportedly, the emulator is currently in it’s ‘Beta’ stage. As there was a notable amount of lag in-game, it may be safe to say the emulator needs to work on its optimization.
The improbable sequel to a fan mod for a Blizzard game that came out in 2002, Dota 2 stormed the e-sports scene in 2013 with its sophisticated twist on real-time resource management and turf control. Arguably the pinnacle of the multiplayer online battle arena genre (or MOBA, which is just another way of saying “competitive real-time strategy game”), it sees two teams of five jockey for sway over lush, jungled terrain beset by ever-spawning computer armies, locking horns at a river that cuts diagonally across a symmetric map. Difficult to master but thrilling to watch, Dota 2 matches unfold like frenetic attention-deficit sprees, camera views pinballing around battlefields flush with antagonists converging on dozens of flashpoints, as players battle to demolish the other team’s “ancient.”This was the game that spurred its author Will Wright to become embroiled in all those Sim games. Although Wrights first commercial title, Raid On Bungeling Bay was an enormously ambitious creation. What initially appears to be a polished, but typically single-minded eight-way scrolling shoot-em-up, is actually something rather more subtle and devious, with players flying over enemy islands where the urban sprawl actually evolves, grows factories and dispatches ever-more-deadly military technology. That changing landscape concept, along with some of the map visuals, would later work their way into Sim City.
Asteroids was released by Atari in 1979 as an arcade game and was later ported to the 2600, a seminal system that was launched in 1977. Last summer we heard that Universal Studios has secured the rights to make a movie out of the game. If you've ever played Asteroids, you know the plot might be a bit lacking for Hollywood. Still, the game was groundbreaking and addictive in its time, spawning a slew of knockoffs and sequels. We're recommending you try this OG Asteroids clone, if only for the astounding and hilarious sound design.
